Our Lodge is just minutes from activities across the whole valley; Whitefish Lake, Whitefish Mountain, Glacier National Park's West Entrance, Kalispell and even the airport.
Aside from our proximity to everything in the Flathead Valley, the Lodge grounds are covered in beautiful trees, the building itself is the perfect blend of rustic elegance and we can accommodate your bridal party on site.
Every suite on the property is designed with luxury in mind. You'll find fireplaces, jetted claw foot tubs, WiFi, premium TV, heated floors and towel racks, private balconies or patios and luxurious bedding. In the common areas we have a full gourmet kitchen, laundry facilities and plenty of space for group dinners.
We have Turo rentals available, toiletries you may have forgotten, trip planning services and on call management to help with any need you may have.

At Wood’s Lodge you can choose from five beautifully appointed suites in a quiet, relaxing setting. Each of these private suites features a separate entrance with it’s own patio or balcony, a luxurious king bed, a gas fireplace, a bath with a jetted claw foot tub, a spa shower, HD TVs, and plenty of closet space. You’ll also have access to our common-area amenities, including a full-size kitchen and a kitchenette, a washer and dryer, our Electric Vehicle charging station, a fenced pet area, and the lodge’s spacious great room.

It is a perfect place to stay if you are skiing or going to Glacier National Park. The lodge was absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. If you are looking for a peaceful, secure and beautiful place to stay this is the definitely the place.

This spot is soo pretty! They allow dogs which is hard to find, and they have their own dog park which makes it so much easier when traveling. The fire pit and chairs are super relaxing and the beds are so comfy. The vintage tubs with jets also added a super fun touch!

The lodge was wonderful! It has everything you need for a stay in Whitefish. My husband and I biked Glacier and we loved how secure everything was. We were able to leave the bikes as we explored Whitefish. The rooms were clean and the bathroom was amazing! The outdoor fire pit and hammock were also great. We’ll be back!

Altogether pleasant surroundings – marvelous porches and outdoor seating areas and a room & bathroom that were beautifully appointed, quiet, and comfortable. Great location just a few minutes south of Whitefish with easy access to all of what makes the area so appealing. And delightful, accommodating owners! Everything we’d hoped for!

Charming and quiet place of respite. I’ve had the pleasure of staying here a few times while leading MT Sobek Glacier tours, and it’s precisely the relaxation and close proximity to nearby towns I need. The family who owns it is positively lovely and very helpful. It felt like I was visiting family with my own very cozy quarters. Would very much like to return!

What a wonderful place. Beautiful and peaceful and also conveniently located right off the highway. We had a great room filled with high end finishes. My only issue was I couldn’t stay longer because we absolutely adored it and the hosts.

Absolutely! We don’t have a surcharge for pets and you are welcome to bring them along. We also have a great pet relief/play area fully fenced with easy access from all suites.
We don’t have a “shuttle” however we do offer rides to different points around the area. Airport pick up & drop off are $60 each, to the Whitefish train station is $50, and to Big Mountain is $80 one way. We have a couple options for vehicles fitting up to 7 guests.
We regularly create trip itineraries for our guests, and can provide some suggestions of things to do in each season. Additionally we can build your entire trip out with bookings made at each activity to make things even easier for your group. Just let us know if we can help.
We’ve all been there! We have some items available to use and some to purchase as well.
We offer weddings, retreats, reunions, and many other party packages but we do ask that you refrain from throwing parties without our knowledge. To have a large event on site, you are required to book the whole lodge. Click here to visit our events website to learn more.
